Ukah Advises Deltans To Live As One Family, Remain Optimistic

Deltans have been urged to continue to live as one family and remain optimistic as the state governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, is resolute in his determination to positively touch their lives.

Delta State Commissioner for Information, Mr. Patrick Ukah, gave this advise when members of the Women's wing of Okpanam Community Development Union, Lagos branch, visited him in Lagos over the weekend.

He said that with the limited financial resources at the disposal of the state governor, he has been able to execute several projects across the three Senatorial Districts  of the state within his one year in office.

Mr. Ukah expressed optimism that as the raining season is coming to an end, more developmental projects will be put in place in different parts of the state to put smiles on the faces of Deltans.

The Commissioner for Information admonished the women to continue to support the present administration by doing things that will portray the state positively.

The women, in their separate remarks, thanked the governor for finding Mr. Ukah worthy of an appointment into the State Executive Council.

Highlight of the visit was the presentation of a portrait to the Commissioner by the women.
