The Delta State Commissioner for Information, Mr. Patrick Ukah, has urged members of Project 25, Okpanam, Oshimili North Local Government Council, to join in raising awareness as well as key into the various policies of the governor of Delta State, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.
Mr. Ukah, who was addressing the group during a meeting in Asaba recently, said that it was necessary for the people to know about the programmes and policies of the government so that they can key into any area that will be beneficial to them.
The Commissioner for Information, who is from Okpanam, stated that Dr. Okowa is committed to fulfilling his campaign promises to deliver democratic dividends to the people in accordance with his prosperity for all Deltans agenda.
Mr. Ukah tasked members of the group not to deviate from the lofty objectives of the body so that they can successfully achieve the purpose for which it was set up.
Project 25, Okpanam, is a social club that gives scholarship awards to indigent Okpanam indigenes in tertiary institutions, among other objectives.
