Okakwu Hails Gov. Okowa At 57

The Senior Special Assistant on Political Matters to the Executive Governor of Delta State, Hon. Ikechukwu Martin Okakwu, has hailed Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on the occasion of his 57th birthday anniversary, commending the governor's dedication to the service of his state and Nigeria.

The SSA in a congratulatory message signed and made available to newsmen on Friday in Asaba, the Delta state capital, also commended Governor Okowa's commitment to the ideals of diligence, humility and perseverance.

Hon Okakwu said, “On behalf of my family, the good people of Ebu in Oshimili North LGA of the state, I write to express my warm felicitations to you on the glorious occasion of your 57th birthday anniversary.

“I join your family, friends, well-wishers and the entire people of Delta State in celebrating a life that vividly epitomizes triumph against all odds emanating from the circumstance of birth, while also symbolizing the assured reward for single-minded commitment to the ideals of diligence, humility, perseverance, focus and dedicated service to what you believe.

"We are grateful to God Almighty for giving us a model we can emulate.

“As you mark this landmark anniversary, it is my prayer that the Almighty God will continue to safeguard you in every ramification of life and grant you good health, even as He prospers you in the many more years of fulfilling service ahead of you”. He said.

Hon. Okakwu used the medium to appeal to all Deltans irrespective of party affiliations to continue to give the governor the needed support to enable him deliver more dividends of democracy to their door steps.
